Privacy Notice

FEFE is designed to need as little about you as possible. This is what that means in practice. It is not a signed legal opinion.

01 The short version

Raising a fly does not require an account, a password or a profile. We do not ask for your name, email, phone, postal address, date of birth or identity documents for that.

We do not sell data and we do not build advertising profiles. Regional limits are written in the terms and rest on the entry declaration. We do not block by IP.

02 The fly stays with you

The first-session brain state is stored in your browser’s IndexedDB by default. If you do not share it, our servers do not receive that life.

If you create a share link or send a moment for server verification, the server stores the event log, the moment hash and a platform-signed receipt so someone else can continue or check it. That is content you chose to send.

03 Your wallet

Connecting a wallet shares your already-public address with this website. We never receive your private key or recovery phrase. A website cannot take those from a wallet.

Your browser may remember which wallet software you connected so the connection survives a refresh. That record lives in your browser.

04 What we store

We keep an index of public chain data so pages can load: pools, trades, reference quotes. None of that originates as a private disclosure from you.

If a lineage or rooms database is configured, shared moments, the public experiment seat and room votes are stored under those services. Without a database the page says it is not persisted. It does not pretend to be cross-instance.

The entry confirmation is stored in your browser (a cookie and local storage). It holds the terms version, not your name.

05 Technical data

The host processes the technical information any website receives: IP address, browser type and the path requested. We do not use that to block a region, and we do not use it for advertising.

Those logs are kept for as long as the host keeps them.

06 Third parties you also talk to

Using the site means your browser also talks to services we do not control: wallets, nodes and data feeds, object storage, block explorers. Each has its own privacy practices.

07 Children

The site is not directed at anyone under the age of majority where they live, and we do not knowingly process their data.

08 Changes

We may update this notice. The version published here is the one that applies. A deliverable contact address will be added when an entity is formed. There is no registered-company address today.
