The reference-asset layer is a product direction. Minting, redemption, trading and vault deposits are not open. This page explains words and limits. It is not issuance, a quote or settlement permission.
The stage label is “Design direction · not open”. Catalog entries have no contract address. Without display rights, live figures are left blank. Empty prices are not filled with a demo or a zero.
Six words, one meaning each
When both kinds appear on one page, each must show its own rights. A ticker or nickname does not replace the word.
- Memestock: a community market token. It has no redemption right. Its value comes only from trading.
- Reference coin: a designed vault claim (s prefix). The plan is redemption at net asset value in the quote asset. It is not metal, a futures contract or the official token. It has not been minted.
- Voucher coin: a designed 1:1 wrap of a redeemable physical voucher (l prefix). FEFE does not take the price risk. It has not been issued.
- Display unit: a unit used to show a market price. There is no token. Big Mac and ramen bowl are display units.
- Vault share: a receipt for a future vault contribution. It is not the platform token and does not promise a return. It is not open.
- Official token: FEFE serves as the official Memestock and platform token. The token itself is not a vault share. DGames rewards require separate funding and validation; this phase does not issue another game token.
Two kinds of rights on one platform
A Memestock has no redemption right. A reference coin is a designed vault claim. The plan is redemption at net asset value in the quote asset, not ownership of the underlying commodity. Redemption would still follow vault status, write-down rules and compliance limits.
Pairing a Memestock with a reference theme does not transfer a redemption right to the market token. Voucher coins, vault shares and the official token are three other, separate things.
We do not write prices or invent them
Commodities Market writes prices through a project-operated feed. FEFE reference coins do not use that path. The price root is identified by the catalogued official feed id, never by a ticker such as GLD or ZC.
Without display rights, this site shows the official session calendar and leaves live figures blank. To check a live quote for that feed, open the official Pyth interface. FEFE does not scrape or republish those figures.
A read-only observation is not mint, redemption or trading permission. Corn and coffee currently have no constant index feed. A dated futures contract is not used as the reference root.
A research sample is not a reference coin
Entries with the cme: prefix are Commodities Market price-tracking tokens, kept for research contrast. They are not issued by FEFE and are not redeemable reference coins. The name does not establish issuance by CME Group or a right to redeem metal or futures.
Entries with the lumob: prefix are design-catalog items. Identification uses the FEFE catalog and feed id only. Both can appear in the planner, but rights, source and availability must stay separate.
